"All That Glimmers..." - An Abstract Painting

"All That Glimmers..."     5" x 7"      Acrylic on Museum Quality Claybord

So I got to try out a new surface medium today, Ampersand Museum Series Claybord Panels, and I just loved it! I noticed that the first coats were sucked right up into it, which makes sense as they claim the product to be very absorbent. So next time I have a go at it I might give it a good amount of love from my gesso, so as not to waste so much paint. But I really, REALLY love just how smooth it is to work on, and can't wait to try a quite detailed, realistic or whimsical painting on it to see how it holds up for that. But so far, I am quite impressed!
